Goood Morning World!

Yesterday cleared up, the sun came out, temps jumped up and it turned out to be a fantastic day. Here's hoping for the same today.

Gotta spend the day real estate shopping online. The time has come to buy a place and get out of this damn trailer park and back into a real house. I wish my old neighborhood in town was rebuilt already, but it's still all slabs and shells of homes.

I hope we find something before the insurance settlements go through and the prices go higher than they are now. A million bucks an acre is not in my budget. FEMA could step in and help but they are too busy paying rent for the folks that didn't get off their ass and find their own places or jobs or anything else. Ah well, that's the way the ball bounces.

I have a big pan of buttermilk biscuits baking and bacon sizzling in the kitchen next to a pot of good ol Community coffee with chicory. Help yourself, just stack your dishes in the sink when you're through.
