First I want to thank Linkster for bringing these points up. This is exactly the kind of information I want to... no NEED to read. And thanks to GG for the support

second we have been trying our best to make improvements across the board in every aspect of our program. Being told where we can improve is a huge help to me personally since it does often fall to me to suggest the changes and kind of lead their implementation.

I forwarded this thread to the owner of the company and his reply was quick, simple and definitive; 'make a list of the changes we need to make' and then basically git er done.

the first change is more variety in the design and layout of each freesite. Got it. While i cant guarantee that all of them will be distinctly unique from one another, we will definitely be adding more variety in there for you. I do understand why this is important to a LL business model and yeah Linkster... we wish you could use more of them as well

the second is the title tag in the HTML. Wow, I had honestly never even considered that. It just never crossed my mind and I am grateful that I am thinking about it now. I think those can be changed in the future as well.

If ANYONE has any suggestions in addition to these 2 please let me know and I will see what I can do about getting them done for next weeks newsletter if we are releasing HFS then (03/02/07).

Spazlabz - The reason I brought it up was hoping that we can convince programs to stop using these low-ball outsourcing companies that put out trash - when there are quality hosted free site "makers" (I stay away from designers cause the last thing you want on a hosted free site is graphical design) - the simpler text sites sell better - and the graphics is a waste of time and money - anyway getting back to the free site makers - that would make sites for you for a lot cheaper and are always available - I see a thread right on this board where a guy is looking for work right now:

And these free site makers know how to sell sites - wheras the outsourcers know how to copy an image from template to template and add in two galleries and have no concept how to SELL!
