Streaming WMV in htaccess Protected Directories

well, I use Coppermine as my content management software and it has a media feature that will play videos in streaming format for users. Streaming is my question.

If the video file resides in a directory that is htaccess protected, will it stream? that is the question

Well, this is not streaming at all. It's just presenting the download file of the video implemented within the html-media viewer. If you like to learn something about the differences, I would suggest this little manual here: http://www.greatsexcontent.dk/?page=...o_streaming_00
