I'm not sure how valuable it is anymore, but it used to be a way to have already captured a surfer's email address even if they decided not to join on the next page.

That makes sense from a sponsors prospective I guess. But, I would think it would be an effective way of dropping signups as well.

GG - That site you mentioned with 2 pre-clicked cross sales... that's horrible.

Maybe it's a cultural thing? I hear some people like to negotiate the product before they talk price... it's rude, or motivates the producer to make lower quality shit, or something.

But I see too many sales from people who seem price conscious... so I don't get what topbucks is doing.
