Site Advisor is full of shit. I checked out my own site, red flags all over for sponsors I didn't even promote, said I was based in Czech Republic, funny, last time I checked my server was in Denmark, and I'm in the UK. And try to tell them they're wrong and it's "ummm...okay, we'll get someone onto it" and 3 months later the same info is still displaying. McAfee need a good kick up the arse on this

Aw, Dad, you've done a lot of great things, but you're a very old man, and old people are useless

Hi there,
This has previously been brought to our attention and we contacted McAfee immediately to find out what the problem was and how we could change the listing. Unfortunately McAfee isn't very helpful and doesn't like to reveal their methods and so their response was very vague but it appeared that this listing had something to do with our exit consoles. We have since reduced the number of exit consoles we have on the sites to try to accommodate this factor. We have requested a retest by McAfee so that our sites can be listed properly. They have assured us that they have 'accelerated' us in their list, but we still have to wait for their bot to check our sites again before the listing will change. Please rest assured, we are doing everything in our power to change the listing in McAfee's Site Advisor and we appreciate you letting us know. Thanks, Ruth ![]() ICQ #233-854-608 |

Mean people suck, nice people swallow, are you mean or nice?

Thanks Ruth. WEG Cash isn't alone. Seems I have links to sever other sponsors that are red flagged as well. I think you're right, it must be exit consoles.

NO! Im not a female - but being a dragon, I do eat them.

As usual the sponsors arent checking their popups - and this one is a perfect example - http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/wegcash.com/summary/
If you read the users comments - the surfers that posted got 13 popups - so Weg says they will reduce the number of popups - good for them - however that does not address the issue that they were redflagged for - which is very apparent on that siteadvisor page - they are downloading programs and making changes to surfers computers As I stated before this is probably not Weg initiating the trojans and changes - its probably one of their advertisers in the popup chain - but if you dont monitor your popups this is the type of trouble you can get into - I had exactly the same thing happen with Plat Bucks about two years ago - as soon as I contacted them (Ellisa at the time) - they monitored their popups with a clean machine and found the offending advertiser and removed them immediately ![]() added/ I will perform a little public service and figure out which popup advertsier it is for Weg this time - but its not right that affiliated have to do this for them |

I checked a few different Weg tours and the total pops "right now" is 5 with no downloads other than the cookies for the advertisers like clickcash and silvercash writing their ref code to those sponsors - which is a pretty standard practice
