Opinions and experiences with 2257 softwares??

I guess I'm a little surprized that there was so little reponse to this.

Am I the only one here with tens of thousands of images that would need to be databased somehow?

How are you folks planning on handling this business problem?

I was thinking of buying a cheapie laptop to use as a dedicated 2257 database station, but what software to use is still a puzzle.

What advantages would there be to buying a dedictaed 2257 script, as opposed to just using a cheap database program?
