well, just surf some of the linklists you plan to submit to and see what's listed. The ones with recips are the submitted ones

don't copy anyone's stuff, but it will give you an idea of how to build freesites that will get listed.

You'll also find lots of help in the newbies & link list forums here, so make sure to have a look through those. Then if you have any other questions that weren't covered in there you can post for answers. This is a good place to be when learning how to build freesites
