A climber friend of mine once told me the problem with Everest is that too many people think money is a free pass to climb to the top; that too many people get up there and need to realize how dangerous it is and have to reevaluate what they're doing, and why, or risk death.
Maybe some of that trash is from arrogent fucks who think they can hack it but after getting there find out it's no stroll up a hill, but by the time they figure it out they're too weak to carry their own trash?
