Yes, but this does not explain the bit of the research that Bill did not quote. Lap dancers and strippers get less tips (and lower tips) if they are on the pill (even though they don't advertise the fact).

That is interesting - the faux pregnacy induced by the pill reduces male interest in exchanging value for 'possible' sexual intercourse...

The part I find most interesting is that men can tell when women are on the pill. The idea that all sexual interest is driven by the subconscious urge to reproduce is an old one. But the idea that we have senses that can tell if it is possible for a woman to conceive is new. It interested me because it is further evidence for a thesis about human ability that I have been working on for some time.
