Is submitting to blog directories worth it?

Twan endorses it because it's his. Along with all the directories it submits to..

Why wouldn't he endorse it?

I use to get traffic from those directories, but seems they filled up with so many of the mass produced stuff.

I haven't been listed with them for very long, but I've been getting a steady amount of traffic. It's not "holy shit god damn" type of traffic", but I'd say it's definitely worth the 3 minutes it takes to fill out the submitter and the backlinks are just gravy.

I say this more and more, but they don't listen to me

ping the directories and bump your blogs up every day. this will give you more traffic and more quality links
