I haven't had time to look into it yet, but it seems that there are some special 'admin' themes which change the look and even positioning of various elements of the admin interface. I wonder if anyone has made one that either mimics the pre-2.5 layout or lets you choose where the various elements appear on the screen. Maybe even one for wider screens.

I'm not having much in the way of problems with the new version of WP, and having the categories section below the post works pretty well since I use SimpleTags and having the 'display click tags' and categories together is okay for me.

Of course if it was putting things where I didn't want them, or making pages inaccessible, or creating a lot of unneeded drafts, I wouldn't like it...but I'm not seeing any of those things happen on any of my WP installations.

Strange how these things don't happen to everyone. Makes me wonder if it has to do with something that happens (or doesn't) during the installation or upgrade process.
