Traffic from outside the US
My name is Frank and I run http://www.Filthy-Frank.com I get about 5000 hits a month but have noticed that the breakdown is about 1500 in the US and 3500 from outside the country. Can anyone explain this to me? Also I have been able to get listed in the top 10-15 on Google for the search term Gangbangs. I have not seen any traffic increase from this. Can anyone help me with that one. Thanks Frank|confused|

There are actually people outside the US that surf the web. It's true.
Have you looked at your logs to see how many hits google sends for that search term? 1st page results is where it's really at. |

Yes, that is true. Even outside of US there are people that watch porn. I know, I'm one of them. I think that your traffic didn't increase because you are still not on first page at google. Or you just didn't noticed that you are getting traffic from google lttle by little since beggining.

Seems what is more important is where that non-US traffic was referred from and what its doing once they get there, eh? Most log analyzers will answer that question in short order.

If something goes wrong at the plant, blame the guy who can't speak English

europena traffic is vital i feel to the success for many businesses in this industry. dont discount the european and also (some) asian traffic. many of these countries although non english speaking will convert really well.

The majority of my sales on my clips4sale store are outside of the US. The US is my largest customer base, but not the majority of my purchases. This was a big heads-up to me and is one of my primary concerns in building my paysite.

In recent months I have had five emails from users who have signed up and in them have commented that they have been a long time non-member of the site, but the current drop in the dollar has prompted them to pay up for a membership.
I think I am going to start listing my prices in Euros and Sterling to remind people of how cheep the eld dollar is at the moment! (if only I didn't get paid in them as well, damn these double edged swords ) |
