Well, there are no many handwritten blogs submitted.. otherwise they would be just a few.. on the other hand some of my directories have sorting by traffic, so in that case real bloggers' blogs would be on top..

Just scanning through the first page you can tell a big majority of them are the same person and that they are mass produced, probably never to updated again, or updated with software.

Those models have been discussed on this board and if people want to create them and directories want to list them, thats their thing..

Just sucks to me that most of the directories end up rewarding these types of blogs while the ones that actually create content by hand get lost, mainly because they do not churn out free blog after free blog.

Funny how things change. Link lists have pretty done away with free hosted porn over the years, well they won't list them, yet blog directories embrace them. Sad real. It's like it's coming around full circle again. That is until the the blog directories start getting burned.

If you just need blogs to fill in your categories you could have found plenty of good ones on this board alone.

You can easily start a large directory using only sponsors blogs to fill up the categories and then only accept hand written ones. Again similar to the LL model. I've never understood why a directory owner would accept RSS fed splogs. Sort of why you cant submit FHG's and HFS's to TGP's and LL's
