Hi,
I'm glad I found this forum, looks like a busy place. I'm from Czech Republic, but I lived in Canada for many years. I've been running a leg fetish website for almost a year but just very recently with a new design because I was told that the old one was very amateurish looking and not trustworthy for people to sign-up.
Of course I need traffic like everyone, I just don't know how to get the kind of traffic that converts.
I submit galleries to tgps and I have some affiliates but most of them don't send me any traffic.
I don't know if I need to be running my own tgp site in order to send traffic to my paysite, but it seems to me that that would be the solution.
Of course I don't have any experience in running a free site.
Anyway, nice to be here.

Yep, I am yet another new member of this forum. My name is Will, nice to meet all of you! Although I am not a virgin to the Adult Industry, I have focused most of my time and efforts on mainstream internet marketing as well as software development.

I can definitely use every bit of wisdom and knowledge I can get further pertaining to the industry, especially the way things have changed over the years in general. When it comes to adult traffic, most of my experience lies in the Dating/Webcam niche.

I hope to learn blogging and dig much further into SEO, from the adult stand point of view. I will probably be reading a lot in the next week or so. I also hope to meet a lot of nice people and exchange good helpful information.

This is just a suggestion, but I wouldn't recommend a tgp to start, instead build as many free sites as you possibly can. It's always easier to get one visitor to each of a thousand sites than to try to get a thousand visitors to just one site. More importantly, each free site is capable of generating a trickle of traffic for months and years to come.

The first thing I'd do is verify if homestead allows adult sites. I don't know for sure, but I'd suspect that they don't. Even if they do, you'd probably be better off with a virtual account on an adult host. I personally use phatservers and I'm happy with them.
