Closing Sponsor Accounts

I ahve a couple of accounts where I have a credit for sales , but below the minimum. I don;t actively promote them - if I close the accounts will they pay me the balance?

That depends from program to program. You should probably contact them personally and ask if you could get your outstanding balance paid.

That's funny but probably the truth. Recently when controversy erupted over many programs trying to do $200 - $300 minimums many tried to say that affiliates who need the money or wish to close the account could just hit them up to get payment.

I've never had it happen yet but if someone refused me this I would be on the boards naming them.

I've had some that will and some that won't. I'm about to close a few myself. Goodluck!
