Actually, I DID try to contact you and I contacted a few others on this board in regards to links to my site that were either neglected, dead or had questionable content on them. I do apologize because it's my fault that I didn't save your contact information when we did the trades and I was unable to figure out whos links they were when I decided to take them down.

I assure you that I tried to contact everyone before I removed any links and I didn't remove links just because I was trying to be shady and get some free backlinks. Furthermore, I even had it posted at the top of my "webmasters" page for several weeks that I had removed some links, explaining my reasons for each one and urging the webmasters I could not get ahold of to contact me to discuss them.

Instead of immediately running to this board and trying to trash my name you could try sending me a PM. In fact, please do send me a PM because I'd love to discuss those trades with you.
