Did you own WorldCom or MCI stock?

Just curious because I used to be an executive with MCI back when WorldCom bought MCI and proceeded to ruin the company. I had close to 40,000 shares that became next to worthless when this asshole took over. Some were purchased from paychecks and others were stock options with the company and the strike price was about $48. As soon as the stock split the price tanked and never recovered, he screwed a lot of people for money when he pulled his shit.

Today made me feel good to see that this asshole is gonna get his ass handed to him and that these execs cannot hide behind their money anymore and that golden parachutes are starting to become a thing of the past for these cheating assholes. He put me and a lot of other people in financial turmoil when all this went down. Today was nice to see him in handcuffs though, hopefully he will get what he deserves.

From Enron to Martha all these people should pay for their crimes, just because they have more money than the rest of us (except maybe GG and DD ) they need to pay the price.

Ok, im done ranting just curious if you owned worldcom stock or if you have lost big on stocks because of one of these big companies (Adelphia, Enron etc).

Andy...are you the part of CLass Action Suit against WorldCom?
I lost a few dollars on their bonds, I am.

As for Stewart, her name doesn't belong in the same sentence as
others you mentioned. Period.

Serge,
I just got the paperwork in the mail like 3-4 days ago, havnt even read it yet, I planned on doing that this weekend, but I do plan on being a part of the class action lawsuit.

As far as Martha, something doesn't sit right with me, granted she didnt screw shareholders out of millions of dollars, but she should still be held responsible for her actions. Something tells me she did commit the actions of Insider Trading, but its hard to prove, just something doesn't sit right with me about her.

if you wanna be the part of class action suit-
do nothing, you are automatiocally included if you don't do anything.

as for Martha-
for as long as Leahey walks free,
she should be left alone...Bush admin protecting the guilty one and draw attention to the small potatoe

Thanks for the info on the class action, but im confused how the Bush administration is protecting the guilty one, share your views If anything (granted im not a political expert) it would appear that the Bush administration is going after these frauding execs. None of this would have happened with the Clinton admin, at least imho.

Never owned WorldComm/MCI stock but I got thoroughly raked over the coals with my Sprint (FON/PCS) stock when the merger failed. And yes, I am a claimant in that class action suit.

Die corporate scum, DIE! |raygun|

Since the judge threw out the fraud charges against Martha, the only thing that is left is her lying to SEC, which, from my view, is still part of the fraud case, then it shouldn't be considered.

Michael Milken with the help of some other corporate raiders, like Ivan Bosky, took 1 billion in corp. assets using Mergers & Acquisitions backed by worthless "junk bonds". He spent 18 months in jail and walked out with 500 million dollars, free and clear. The hero of Las Vegas, since it was his bonds that enabled punky Steve Wynn that ran out of Atlantic City, to build the Mirage/Treasure Island etc.

but Karma is a Bitch, and Steve Wynn is almost blind from a congenital disease and Milken's Dick doesn't work. HA!!

Truthfully, the inner circle of corporate wall street is so tight, that it would take literally decades to chip away enough to bring the big boys down.

The Execs from Enron, Worldcomm, Heathsouth, got cocky. Flaunted their $$$ around, were very public figures and had to go. But the quiet ones, the Dave Williams, the Stanford Phelps, the John Winthrops, who are multi-billionaires, you'll never or rarely read about them. they are too busy making and sheltering their money.

me beef with administration is that all those small potatoe suits just distract the public from the MAJOR culprits:
ENRON, and Leahey in particular....who incidentally was a big contributoe to...Bush.

I bet if you did research you will find something wrong with Democrat campaign contributors as well, its not just this administration. I dont think any suit is too small, granted we could be going after some bigger fish, but at least it is causing some of these companies to rethink their scamming ways.
