In any event, you should feature pay-per-call billing, the UK being the most advanced and regulated market when it comes to premium rate.

But shop around - For example, In the case of the UK, an 8 minute pay-per-minute session from a surfer from there will yield:

Processor A : $7.04
Processor B : $7.12
Processor C : $8.00
Processor D : $10.20

Remember, the surfer pays £1.50/Min., irrespective of the processor you choose - go figure - and enjoy that sunshine lol

I don't mean to be rude but nearly $2.50 USD a minute is just way too much. Personally for alternative phone billing I'd rather keep the subscription model and do $30 USD (equiv. in their currency) a month. Do you offer that? If not, you should.

Actually, we do not dictate the end-user costs - rather, the telcos with whom we have interconnect agreements do - which is why the payouts vary from country to country.

Such "premium rate" per minute billing works great in most developed markets, except USA/Canada.

There, you would be better off selling a monthly subscription, but there are chargebacks, and 900 does not even work with cell phones...
