My opinion
Personally, I was quite disappointed (but it was still worth the PPV). It had the potential to be one of the best WrestleMania...
It seemed clear to me that the only reason The Rock came back was to market his latest movie. (The fact that Dwayne didn't say a word on Wrestlemania at Jay Leno speaks for itself) Foley wasn't his insane self. Where were the chairs? The tables? He surely didn't look like a hardcore legend there. Kane/Undertake : It could have been better but I enjoyed Paul Bearer's return. Jericho/Christian : Quite predictable but it's going to give Trish some colors in the storyline area. HHH/Benoit/HBK : It was enjoyable except there was WAY too much blood on Sean to be believable. People were laughing at the movie theater... Goldberg/Lesnar : Very boring match! I felt robbed. Eddie/Angle: It was better than I thought but I really dislike Angle's style. It's boring as... Olympic wrestling. Eddie won a few points in my book. Oddly enough, I think the match I enjoyed the most was the Cruiserweight match. Entreri. |
