Best Software?

I have used Frontpage in the past, but does anybody recommend any other software for building my site?

Dreamweaver although I'm still using GoLive but as Adobe has discontinued GoLive I'll be switching to Dreamweaver next.

While neither will provide you an exact duplicate of the application, I have seen Quanta and Aptana and both are relatively powerful. NVU became Kompozer and is a fairly decent WYSIWIG editor.

That being said, Dreamweaver is probably one of the more common ones.

Frontpage, but you gotta turn off the stupid autonumber tables and remove their spam from your metas. And just for pages, not for front page webs with 50 extra folders for un-needed crap, and jesus christ, no front page extensions. God made ftp for a reason, then he made sftp so I couldnt figure out what to do with the keys. He does shit like that just to piss me off and make me paranoid.

Yep , i still use frontpage as long as i know the codes only to write with bold and <br> </br> command

Frontpage is the only one I've used and I had a lot of problems as far as the page looking fine on my end but when I checked out the site on another computer, everything had shifted all over the place.

Of course this was 4-5 years ago, and I was very inexperienced.
