This is probably really easy to do, but I don't know how.
Can I change the name of a Facebook group?

According to facebook help center you can't.
According to the same question on facebook discussions center :

You can only do this by deleting the group and recreating it with a new name. If you have a lot of members create the new group and place a note in the old group asking them to join the new one. Then after they move over delete the old group.

IF you are the creator, and IF you have less then 5k members

Step 1

Visit the Facebook website. Launch your favorite web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari, and type "facebook.com" in the address bar. Press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.

Step 2

Enter your Facebook login credentials, which are the email and password associated with your account, into the boxes at the top of the Facebook site. Hit the "Enter" key on your keyboard to log in. Your profile now appears on the screen.

Step 3

Click "Groups" in the left menu bar. If you don't see it listed, press "More." A list of groups you've joined will appear on the screen.

Step 4

Click a group for which you are an administrator.

Step 5

Select the tab labeled "Info."

Step 6

Click "Edit Information." A series of boxes will appear. Under "Basic Info," press "Change Group Name." Enter the new name for the group and select "Save Changes."

Step 7

Click "Done Editing." The new name will be saved and be displayed on the group page the next time you refresh it.

But, why do you want to change group's name? What' s the benefit?

Won't it affect other members of group?

Actually what happens with the members is they get a notification from facebook about the change

I'm changing it from a city-wide group to a region-wide group.
