You have to have as much money coming in as going out (preferably more coming in than going out) or you end up in serious financial shit, the Government has to "create" more money which leads to inflation, unemployment, etc.... You also need money coming in to pay off that huge national debt the idiot W. ran up while in office. Fail to do that, and America ends up like a bankrupt third world country!

Oh, US banking is very important indeed.
Well, I already admitted we are a whorehouse, but I don't think you third world leeches would even exist if not for us and that goes for Europe too LOL!

And I'm not even talking about WW II LOL, I'm talking money!

You suffer from the same problem as me, you are still living in the 1970's. Back then America was a great nation, but now it is Asia that is propping the USA up, not the other way round. At the moment your country owes countries like China so much money that if China says "jump" the USA has to ask "How high sir?" and then damn well jump. Fortunately China and India also make a lot of money from exporting to the US, so they don't want to rock the boat. But if the President goes all protectionist and starts bringing in trade levies or some such thing (which must look inviting in the current economical climate), or if he stops that aid you keep moaning about, then countries like China can retaliate by demanding that the loans get repaid, then it will be the 1930s all over again. (I don't think this will happen while Mr Ob is in power, but if he looses the next election and you get someone like Palin in, there is a serious risk she will get patriotic and protectionist, if that looks like happening, emigrate to Canada or Europe before it is too late!)

However the most imminent worry is over America's credit rating. At the moment it is good, but if it drops, you owe more money that Greece does, so the same thing will happen in America as is happening there, prices are going up, and salaries are going down. Serious poverty for most people, however not as bad as the above scenario (but there is a greater chance of it happening, even with a good President).

I answered that question a couple of posts back!!!!!!!

As I said the other day, read the whole thread before replying to it. If you just look at one post and reply without reading the rest of the thread you are bound to either ask what has already been answered, repeat what has already been said, or say something stupid. It is inconsiderate to all other users to simply use this forum to air your views without first reading those of others. Sure, some people will have widely different views to other people (such as you and I over ePassport's culpability), and everyone has the right to state their own views. But at least have the good manners and common decency to read other people's posts in the thread before adding your own.

Not to get too personal, but just because you say something (long winded or not) doesn't make it a fact.

True, but irrelevant. When you ask a question and get an answer, there is no point in asking the same fucking question over and over again, even if you think the answer is wrong. Instead read the answer. If you don't agree with the answer, post to disagree with it if you like, BUT DON'T KEEP ASKING THE SAME QUESTION, that is just childish.

Doubt its a typo. He is referring to the lead paint in the countless products we use everyday.. or used to before we found out how dangerous it is to us. hahaha

We have gotten so politically correct that it has almost become incorrect. The other day I was called a racist on FaceBook because I called Bush a rich white man.

Oh, if you look through a few of his past posts you'll see that it is very unlikely that this is a typo.

Exclamation DO IT NOW...NOW...NOW!!!

I tried to withdraw the remaining funds in my ePassporte *Wallet* this morning when I saw the latest message from SKNANB (posted earlier in this thread), but the ACH transfer to bank account was showing an error message and wouldn't complete.

Good news is I just tried again and it went through, or at least the ePassporte website shows that it did and now my balance is reduced by the amount I transferred.

My advice to anyone with money still in the Wallet (not on the Visa part of the account) is that you may want to withdraw all that you can as soon as you can in case things go completely tits-up in the next few days. I know it's not easy for those not in the USA to withdraw their funds, but if you're in the USA and can do an ACH transfer to your bank account this may be time to jump on this.

I just did that & it appears to have gone thru.

Honestly, take the $100 I'm missing out of the equation & I could care less about the Visa thing. I'd be happy with a company that could accept money from sponsors that do not pay via check & then transfer it to my bank once a week for a $3 fee.

I know you have hard on for me, but I'm pretty much done with your wisdom and trivia due to your "downfall of America" prediction. That's right up there with the "second coming". Go back to defending epassporte.

It will probably surprise you to learn that I actually like America and Americans, and I genuinely hope I am wrong. However the reason I am probably correct is that too many Americans have this "America is great, nothing can go wrong attitude" so don't take the steps needed to make me wrong.

For example, in his first term of office George W. started to fuck up the economy. Regardless of any other issues (including party loyalties) anyone who cared about America should have voted against him to save the country. However he spent the money on things that made him popular, and despite American economists screaming that this was a bad thing, most Americans stuck with their belief that America is indestructible, and voted him in for a second term. He fucked the economy some more, then the crash happened. The crash was not really his fault, but he had so "knife edged" the economy that it made it hard to pull America back from the brink. The fact that the crash hit America so badly is George W.'s fault, the fact that America has still not recovered from it is George W.'s fault, and the fact that you are tottering on the brink of a second dip is George W.'s fault. And it is the fault of the majority of Americans who refused to listen to the warnings from his first term of office because they thought America was indestructible, and voted him in a second time.

And there is another big disaster looming - the mid terms. If most Americans vote with their hearts instead of their brains the impending "falling of the sky" I was talking about will become even more probable. Unfortunately, to save the country, the majority of voting Americans need to realise that America is not indestructible, and vote for what America needs, not for what they want. However most Americans have the same views as you "America is great, we don't have to worry", and that will push the country into disaster and decline.

Remember what happened to the Roman empire, or more recently to the British empire. Both of those died because the Romans and British thought about their countries the same way you (and so many others) now think about America, and unless a hell of a lot of people have a rethink, America is going the same way as the Roman empire.

And that is why I so often post things like those in my previous post. Hopefully some people will think about what I say, and convince others, and will save your country. I doubt it though. Most people are probably thinking "What the fuck has it got to do with that Brit. America is great, and we don't need no Limey telling us otherwise." Ironic isn't it? What will probably do for the USA in the end is patriotism. People need to learn that being patriotic does not just mean loving your country, it also means doing what is best for your country, even if it hurts you. Sitting back with a self satisfied "America is great" attitude and letting America go to hell in a handcart makes you about as patriotic as an Iraqi urinating on the Stars and Stripes.

Remember that famous quote "Think not what your country can do for you, think only what you can do for your country."
