I think you're right... I really want this to work, and can afford to keep it up at a lower cost and still work on it.. I actually really enjoy doing it, so I'm working hard toward sticking around. But i do admit that the 150/mo is high for what i should need. I think my course of action is this.

Hire someone on freelancer.com to rewrite the photobattles plugin for me to to take advantage of caching techniques.. That will allow my site to be really fast, on less horsepower. Then...

Switch hosting providers onto a shared system.

This path would present a transparent effect to the user.

Next, on this lower $$ server... I can keep the site alive, and I will keep it online, and I will have more fun with it and not give a shit if it doesn't pay me a dime. At that rate, i dont care if it makes money... It's just fun to do.

That's what i'm going to do... Thanks to your insight and tutelage... that's my plan.

If you would be so kind to give me some names of some good hosts that would give me good performance and a decent price on a shared plan, i'd really appreciate it. My parents also own a business that's been around a LONG time, and I host their business and my sister's business websites. So even if hotbodybattles doesn't make it... I'll have my businesses website on it, their businesses website on it, and then whatever the next project i work on's website. The account surely wont be temporary.

I want a host that I can trust to be treating me right..
