Yes those were the days when all of us would get together at the bar and watch the Al Secords and Denis Savards and Doug Wilsons right on up to J.R. and Chelly. After that, no one is too sure, but we think the team pulled a Robert Irsay and ran off in the middle of the night. Now there's just a bunch of pathetic impersonators calling themselves the Blackhawks. At least we have a great minor league club to watch in the Chicago Wolves. And now the basketball team is the equivalent of the New York Liberty (at best). Sad days in the Windy City. Thanks GG for giving us Chicagoans something to do while the NHL and NBA playoffs go on in the rest of the country again.
