Windy, windy, windy last night, and, broke another rear spoke on my bike - on the drive side again, which means, remove the gears (reminding me I need to get that chain whip - oddly named tool, almost sounds related to BDSM).

So, in four months, I've lost 2.5" off my waist and 15 pounds. While that wasn't my intention, and I didn't really realize I had weight to lose, I now need to buy new shorts because a few pair won't stay up.

Morning all.

Went out this morning and used the bug blaster to kill the aphids on my plants, picked some kale, romaine lettuce and radishes. Got them all cleaned up and now sitting down to start work.

@CD34 congrats on the weight loss. I've been kind of stuck where I am, been adding muscle, but no loss of pounds.

I typically weigh myself every 14 years or so. I only weighed myself when I started riding as Strava uses it to calculate wattage and effort. When I noticed I needed to buy new shorts, I weighed myself again.

I think you need a BMI scale to really gauge things. Muscle is twice as heavy as fat (I think), and muscle burns more calories. Virgohippy and I were talking about that a bit over the last few days. All I know is, I made no real changes except riding and I try to ride (vigorously according to the chart) an hour or two every day.
