How Long Does It Take To Get Approved ?

Depends on my workload. If you are lucky, a few hours. If you are unlucky a few days, occasionally a week or so. There has been 3 times when it has been several weeks.

As to themed galleries: one of my TGP keeps galleries on the main page for months (very few submissions) and although my main TGP only keeps galleries on the main page for a week to ten days (depending on subs) it archives a year's worth. So I'm not over keen on galleries that become "out of date".
