Mouse Money Tree
I have window boxes in front of my apartment and vegetable growing boxes inside one of the windows. The building I am in also has a problem with mice. This morning I was doing some work on the boxes which involved adding new soil from a bag I got last year and have not used since last summer. Pulling it out I found that the mice had gnawed a hole in the bottom, and pouring the soil out I discovered that they had also collected dropped coins and planted them in the soil.
What the hell is that about? I cannot see any use the mice would have for coins, so cannot understand why they would store them, and I doubt that they were trying to grow them. So why the heck were the mice collecting and hiding coins? |

And this from a man who knows to carry a towel?! Mice are the physical protrusions into our dimension of a race of hyperintelligent pan-dimensional beings who commissioned construction of the Earth to find the Question to the Ultimate Answer of Life, the Universe, and Everything. As such, they are the most intelligent life form on that planet, contrary to what humans think. Obviously they're saving up to buy your brain, where the question for Deep Thought's answer is implanted. I just hope you'll get to go to the restaurant instead of having it removed (the brain that is). HTH ![]()
