GoDaddy has a racket.
Yesterday a friend called. She had a domain at GoDaddy on managed WordPress hosting and they wanted to charge her $83 to renew for a year. If she dropped the managed WordPress it would still be $15 + $10 for privacy. What a rip. I transferred her site to my server instead and it cost me 10 bucks. We're both happy because she is going to pay me in ice cream. |

GoDaddy is a racket!
Apparently having trouble with them myself. Someone is trying to transfer three domains to me from his GoDaddy account and GoDaddy are getting sticky. And they (GoDaddy) refuse to talk to me about it. In other news: I'm tired, I'm going to bed! |

That sentence works better if you replace the word "racket" with "fucking bastard cunts"!
I had a shitty day yesterday, totally pissed off when I posted, and my comment about being tired basically meant I was fed up with the day and wanted to go to bed. I didn't, I just passed out in front of my computer about nine thirty, my time. Woke up with cramp in both legs and once I was able to walk went to bed. Slept about ten hours in total, got up about half an hour ago, washed, made coffee, then sat down in front of my computer full of optimism, today was going to be a better day, wasn't it!? Then opened an email from GoDaddy. It told me to click on a link then select "accept email changes" to finalise the transfers. Did this and was asked for the transaction ID and security code that was in the email. THERE WAS NO FUCKING TRANSACTION ID OR SECURITY CODE IN THE EMAIL!!!!!! Today is starting out as another shitty day. As soon as I have finished my coffee I'm going to have to deal with GoDaddy's shitty help desk. I fucking hate GoDaddy! |
