What made Narcos watchable for me was that it wasn't all subtitles. But I still found them annoying. Funny that my Spanish speaking friends said that they still found themselves reading the subtitles. Lilyhammer is another Netflix show with some English and some subtitles that I enjoyed.
Nothing fun going on today so planning on just working and maybe hitting the gym on this storming once again day. |

I watch so many subtitled movies that it becomes second nature. Some time back I turned away from the TV to stir something on the cooker and was surprised for a moment that I could not still understand what was happening on TV. I had forgotten that the film was in Spanish, and I had been "reading" it rather than listening to it!
Things that show you the sort of place I live in: I had a conversation with a neighbour a few minutes ago. When I told him that I work with computers he replied "Yeah, I used to do that. I used to steal server boards!" ![]() |
