Bleagh! Low fat, low calorie diet again - I put on half a stone while on holiday.
Not entirely my fault. I was on holiday in the North of England - very unhealthy there (there are parts of the North where the average life expectancy is lower than retirement age: In other words, places where you will most likely die before you are old enough to retire). They have two ways to cook stuff: Fry it, or put it in a pie! If you buy a sandwich up North, they serve fries with it (that is not a joke, they really do). So eating up there for a week I put on just over half a stone. Now I gotta eat yucky healthy meals for a while. Boo!
(It is not just food that makes them unhealthy, they are also heavy smokers. I caught the night coach up, and had to walk past several streets of hotels to get where I was going when I arrived at about 7AM. The streets were full of people in their pyjamas, standing outside their hotel for the first cigarette of the day!)
