Tuesday November 10th (aka Why Am I Awake?)

Morning!

Up early today as I hit the sack real early last night after a kinda stressful day visiting the SS doctors. The Bitch & I think the physical exam part of things went well, since I couldn't do well over 1/2 the tasks he asked me to do. As for the mental part, aside from being annoyed because this is the 10th time in the last 2 or so years that I had to explain my life to a psychiatrist/counselor, I was as honest as possible & think it went well. Fingers crossed!

Terminator: Genisys is FINALLY available on PPV at Amazon. They've had the digital movie for sale at $19.99 for about a month, which is a great marketing move on their part, because dummies like me will often accidentally buy these movies thinking it's just a PPV rental...like I did with the new Mad Max

I liked the movie Terminator: Genisys, but thought the latests Mad Max movie sucked.

My Air BnB guest leaves today. He is a very nice man, but oddly I find hi really annoying.

Started making smoothies using the supplement creatine before working out. It seems to really help but also causes water retention and I woke up really bloated. I see a lot of peeing in today's activities.

Just a day of work planned with the possibility of an afternoon bike ride to the beach.
I have a purple popup canopy arriving from Dick's Sporting Goods today that I don't want to be left at my front door so will also be doing a UPS watch.

A friend bought a new oven the other day, and reading the instructions he discovered it is a Jewish oven. Seriously! It has settings designed to get round the religious law that strict Jews observe that ban them from using an oven on the Sabbath. It is actually designed for that purpose.

I kind of think that if there is a God, he may be a little pissed off with a Jew who cooks on the Sabbath, but he will be even more pissed off with a Jew who deliberately buys something to get round a "loop hole" in the Jewish teaching.

Plus I'm kind of worried by the fact that the oven was manufactured in Germany. The Germans have a fairly dodgy record when it comes to making ovens for Jews!

P.S. If you go a long way back in my ancestry you will find both Jewish and German blood. So I'm allowed to make that joke. But if any of you had said it, it would have been racist and in bad taste! (Kind of like the way black people are allowed to use the N word, but the whites are not.)
