2016.08.14 Sunday, No Moping!

Morning!

Been moping around a bit the last few days when I should have been taking care of business. Decided to drop the odd ball pillow I was using. Got a good sleep last night so I am in a better frame of mind today. Already had a reasonable - read healthy - breakfast and gone on the elliptical for 3.33km (2 mi). Guess I will get more stuff ready for my daughter's move next Saturday

and do some paperwork as I -- you guessed it -- watch the ball game.

Went to bed late and then woken up by horrendous thunderstorms during the night. On the plus side, my cat got very affectionate and slept with me.

Downloaded the movie ticket app Atom and my first movie is free. Thinking of going to see Star Trek, but then thinking what it is like to be stuck in a movie chair for two hours with no pause button. Sad when even free doesn't really motivate me to go to the theater.

Star Trek was too old school (think original series as oppoed to TNG) with too little plot and too much action. I really enough Ghostbusters. Goofy but fun.

It's summer. There's no moping in SUMMER!

We're due for a 'horrendous thunderstorm' here, haven't had any really good ones this year yet. I love me a good thunderboomer. Looks too sunny out there today though.

I guess I'll do what all the kids are doing these days... stay in and play computer games.

Will be making my world famous chicken fettuccine later though.
