First pc, thanks for the link. That was an interesting read and quite frankly it looks like G is being a greedy bastard! Especially denying one company their certificates.

Second pc, unfortunately the traffic is SE mostly and it's not to the root domain but all the hits going to all those internal pages that add up. Thankfully on a dedicated server.

Third Greenie, thanks for checking with Mojo.

Still not sure what will really be necessary and from what Toby and pc mentioned it sounds like way too much work to move everything to https. This will be evaluated if and when traffic gets that serious nut kicking.

Have a feeling I'll just let it die a slow death while getting a second server and move an avs site to turn into a proper paysite and/or start fresh with a handful of new sites all certified from the beginning.
