I just added American Meme thou I do not need a show to tell me out of touch I have become.

Added F Is For Family because I forgot new episodes were released.

As for recently watched shows I finished the new season of The Last Kingdom which I really like thou I wished they did not release until after the new season of Vikings on TV.

We also watched The Christmas Chronicles and Yes it was your typical cheesy holiday movie but then again that's what I liked about it

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (also referred to simply as Bandersnatch) is a 2018 interactive film in the science fiction anthology series Black Mirror. Written by series creator Charlie Brooker and directed by David Slade, Netflix released it on 28 December 2018 as the first standalone film in the series.

Bandersnatch is presented as an interactive film. A brief tutorial, specific to the device being streamed on, explains to the viewer how to make choices. They have ten seconds to make choices, or a default decision is made. Once a playthrough ends, the viewer is given an option of going back and making a different choice. The average viewing is 90 minutes, though the quickest path ends after 40 minutes. There is 150 minutes of unique footage divided into 250 segments. IGN reports that according to Netflix, there are five "main" endings, with variants within each ending. When the viewer reaches such an ending, the interactive film gives the player to redo a last critical choice as to be able to explore these endings. In some case, the viewer can reach the same segment in multiple different ways, but be given different choices based on the way they reached the segment. In other cases, certain loops guide viewers to a specific narrative regardless of the choices they make

I finally watched/tried this last night & I went into it thinking I'd base my decisions on what I'd personally do and it started out fine. Then it kept rewinding (for lack of a better word) and making me choose between things I already chose against, meaning they asked A or B and I took A, then they asked C or D and I took C, then they asked B or D, so I was kinda forced to pick a path I didn't want to & *that started to annoy me. Then the "Netflix" thing came into play & I thought that was fucking BRILLIANT! Then there were 2 or 3 times I was given a choice between a rewind or credits, so I took the rewind & each time was great. By the end (which was truly awesome) I was just "OMG! THIS IS AMAZING!" and I can't wait to watch/try it again knowing what I know from the 1st go-thru.

*I think you're referring to this part & if so, then I completely understand what you're saying, but I think if you go back twice, one time keeping the author of the Bandersnatch book he was reading/using in mind, and the other keeping the PAC thing in mind, you're going to have 2 very different experiences from your 1st go-thru.

With Netflix's newest price hike, for the first time, I am considering cancelling it. I rarely watch anything on there anyway. I feel like someday soon, they will only list their in-house content and no longer license the few shows I used to enjoy.

Thoughts?

Never even heard of it. I cannot stand commercials. I cancelled Amazon Prime because of their preroll ads, even though they were for their own content.

I mostly watch random YouTube videos. Right now, I'm binge-watching some dude's videos about Bangkok's nightlife. He doesn't talk. He just wanders around "Walking Street" with what I assume is a hidden camera. He points out the ladyboys in the subtitles. I spent about a week watching only short plane crash documentary-style vids. Good stuff.
