I use Name Cheap

They don't have all the bells and whistles but I have never had a problem with them for almost 3 years. $8.88 flat rate.

If you transfer a domain to them that has 6 months of registration left on it, they charge nothing for the transfer and only need $8.88 for a years registration beyond the 6 months left. So basically in that scenario you get the transfer and 1 1/2 years of registration for $8.88.

I am thinking of transfering a few domains to them but have not yet so I can't vouch for the support because I have never needed them for anything beyond registration(knock on wood!).
