Tina, sorry to hear you are ill. $400/mo is a very achievable goal if you know basic marketing. Don't do the same mistake I did at start. I was making my site for months before releasing it to public just because I thought it's not good enough. Before I worked for mainstream internet company. Then my buddy Ronnie, from AE kicked me in the butt and said to give it a go already and I started sending traffic. Then money showed up, which would happen already before but it didn't because I am a perfectionist. This was a good lesson for my perfectionism.

If you know how to entice a surfer in to buying then just start posting small free sites to link lists and make "avs" sites out of them and send them out to "avs" companies. Select a niche that turns you on the most as you'll be able to write good ads for it. When I write ads myself I get a boner reading them, lol. Then I know they are gonna work. Good luck with all and just start with building/submittig sites - they are a good indicator of how good you will do.
