How do you choose your sponsors?

I've tried several different methods. I recommend trying a sponsor and seeing if 1.) they convert and 2.) they pay for yourself. I know friends of mine who hate some of the sponsors I use and and I hate some of theirs because of conversions, which is really different traffic.

Bottom line just because a friend does well or doesn't do well has little to do with how you market to your traffic. HTH
