How do you choose your sponsors?

I look at the content to begin. If it looks like it might convert I check to see if they use CCBill. If they do, I'll signup and then email the webmaster for content that I can use. If they can provide members access to their page, I can select the content on my own. Then I begin to promote them around and see what kind of conversions I get. If things work well I continue to promote them regularly.
I like to look around a members area to see if the site is worth promoting. If there is limited content, I won't bother with it. I don't want someone to join a site based on something I promote and not feel as though they have gotten their monies worth. I do the same with my program. We offer tons of content and want our affiliates to know that they can stand behind our product.
