Looks like a good sized tree with a decent tonnage of branches hanging directly over the house.

You can't just notch the base and drop it away from the house, I doubt even a larger sized backhoe could haul that weight up and over to fall in a safe direction.

So it will have to be cut up into smaller pieces, with ropes and a small bucket crane to keep the lopped branches from falling and piercing the roof. Eventually the overhanging weight will be low enough to allow the main truck to be lifted away from the house and dropped to the side.
