Notepad for html - although I have Namo and webcanvas
Xara, PS for graphics - but usually just pay somebody
Express Thumbnail for doing large batches of image pages and thumbs
Batch Thumbs for smaller jobs (but not thumbnailing-it sucks) like renaming
Xat Image and JPG optimizers

Looking at a small script now that can generate 30,000 pages a minute based on google searches - just kidding

Good one Linkster I said "Fuck" so loud halfway though that sentence that the dog woke up barking and the little lady came running from downstairs to see if everything was ok

uh-oh - at first I thought I had to be embarrassed for my old-fashioned tools, but then I found more notepad/editpad than I'd ever expected (in 2004) - here's my list:

HotDog Pro 3 (from 1996 or so) - text based with colored tags = the only real difference to notepad - LOL!
It's a bit like the great freeware editor Arachnophilia.

PaintShop Pro 7 for most graphics
Paintshop Pro 5 for screen captures and hand-made thumbs (5 is slimmer and 7 adds a little feathering along edges)
ThumbsPlus 4 for image sorting, thumbnail tables, and batch renaming
Some VB scripts to get tables from ThumbsPlus adjusted to my liking and inserted into templates

I have Macromedia MX on my disc, but never found the time to give it a good try...

Wow Fonz you use SuperJPG. Don't know anyone else that does. What an excellent program. I love the batch feature for thumbs and renaming my files. Did you hear they closed down?

ImageReady --> Action Pallet --> New Action --> Record. Then do whatever it is that you would like your droplet to do. Stop recording and then choose Create Droplet and save it someplace. Now you can just drag and drop files onto the droplet for batch processing. If you double click the droplet it will open in ImageReady where you can edit many of its settings and for ones that you can't instead drag and drop stuff from your History pallet into the droplet window.

TextPad for html/php - colored tags, multifile editing and lots of other cool text-related stuff;
ACDSee for batch resizing/renaming, video snapshots extraction, and for just local image browsing;
Dreamweaver for complex layouts
Photoshop & fireworks for all kinds of graphics

Wow Fonz, have you been peeking in my box?

Yep that is pretty much my setup.

HomeSite
PhotoShop 7
ImageReady
SuperJPG
SmartFTP
Topstyle Lite for CSS

I will generally use SuperJPG for thumbs unless I can't get a good quality with a small file size - then I use PhotoShop.

HomeSite isn't a WYSIWYG editor and the finished code is about as close to hand coding as you can get without it looking like it was done on an editor.

CoffeeCup Html Editor
JPEG Optimizer and
IrfanView for thumbs and image resizing/resampling.
IrfanView is free too.

I use content management software.

haha nooo just kiddin. It's just a plain blog software but it's customized enough so that it can look like a regular website with and type of design to it.

Um, for me that would be the following:

DreamWeaver MX for html, css, php and such
Photoshop 7.0 for static graphics, ImageReady for animated GIFs.
Flash MX for occasional work with Flash.
EasyThumbnails for makiking thumbs and resizing images in batch.
SmartFTP for uploads to server.
TheBat! for email communication.
IE Explorer and Netscape 7.1 for web browsing and cehcking compatibility.

Oh, and i run Apache web server on my computer, so that i dont need to upload anything to server to see if it works

<<<EDIT>>>
Forgot to say - i use ACD See v2.3 (very old one, but best of them, imho) to browse files, see images, copy-paste, and batch rename.
