I am so in the doghouse because I didn't wake my wife up to see the show...

I can't blame her tho, that was an amazing fucking sight! The whole northern sky, all the way up to 90 degrees, straight above my head, filled with giant waving bands of flashing light.

It was so huge, and flashing so much, that it was almost frightening. I've seen some amazing things, but that was right up there in the top 10.

Whats amazing was how FAST it moved, sheets of light crossing what must have been hundreds of miles in seconds.

It was spellbinding.
