Actually it appears the boot is on the other foot. I got a reply from Google today. It did not actually clear up the question I asked, but they were nice enough to point out that American advertisers get there min bid ads ranked WELL BELOW min bid ads from Britain.

OK, so that may still be racist (or nation-ist if Useless Warrior prefers) but since it is in my favour that is fine by me.
