Note that is a 5000 with a 6250 surge rating, not a 6250 as the advertising might indicate. The ones at Publix are listed as the running watts rating rather than the surge. The Publix one is a 5500/8500. This is the one our local Publix is selling: http://shop.briggsandstratton.com/BS...6-C26D44D17EC3 Depending on the duty cycle, it might be worth $500 for a generator that you will get 60-100 hours of use out of without question. ![]() Of course, up here we have 6.5% tax. Cleo, I'll run by there again and see if they still have them.
