No matter how good you are at something, there's always about a million people better than you

Is it blind because it slightly resembles the page title? because there is no banner? What gives? Just becuase a surfer might hit that link after comming from a link list it's called deceptive? So every link that a surfer hits after comming from a link list MUST be free? Ok so then remove all links from warning page incase they might hit it and might have a word in it the same as the title? I'm not trying to be cocky but your not making any sense to me. Seriously.
What are we suposed to do? Spell it out in plain english to only hit links if they wish to pay? I give up man, you're the hardest to please, but I please you anyways when I submit becuase I want the traffic and have never gotten a decline that I can recall. Just seems like LL's are going the way of TGP's now. Forgetting that traffic to sponsors above all is most important. Don't get me wrong though. If I submit a site with ads that look like thumbs and are sized like a thumb sitting next to a thumb, or have links promissing non existant shit, I would expect you to reject it. There is letting surfers own curiosity to figure out what the ad/link means for themselves, and then there is deception. What we saw here today was merely playing on curiosity. I list things that would prolly make you cringe.. but ya know... not one complaint, people keep submitting, and I keep making money too from my link list and traffic keeps growing. Go figure. Anywho, I got freesites to bulid for a client, and yes, they are ALL link list compliant regardless of my views on things. The client's ability to get listed as well as make money come first to me.

Actually it is my belief that a little crap in a list site is a good thing. Kind of the way a little piss on a webmaster board can be a good thing.
![]() The trouble is my admin seems like it has a direct connection to a collage dorm's main waste pipe during a Saturday’s evening of heavy partying. Each day I find myself swimming upstream in a sea of crap. ![]() If I get a nicely designed site with good content I may overlook other things but if it is four pages of thrown together ads with pics that are just so so then I'm much more likely to nit pick about some rule and hit decline. I can't tell you how many time I see a site with gaudy design and/or awful colors I just look for a reason to decline. Likewise I see a site with pleasing design and decent content and it is more like please don't let there be a problem that prevents me from listing it. It comes down to the fact that there is way more stuff being built then is needed so only the better stuff is going to get listed. Want good listing then build good stuff. |
