tigermom, you probably already know that the Buddy Christ comes from the movie Dogma. If you haven't seen it, you should. It really has as much to do with Christianity as Police Academy has to do with real police.

I don't think you even know what Judaism is, dear. I am an atheist and Jewish at the same time, how about that? I'm not the only one either, believe it or not, quite common here. I like how he's telling me about my own national identity and family history though, and that I can't be an atheist and Jewish. That, unlike the feeble Hitler joke, did make me laugh. A bitter laugh though.

But she's a non believer so how can she recognise anything about a religion?

Hitler didn't do anything that any religion hasn't done in the past few 1000 years, he just did it in different ways.

Ummmm, so you have to be a believer to recognize anything about a religion? Since when is that? Also, Judaism is a nationality, not just a religion. You opted to skip the lesson, so I won't go any deeper into that. Let's just say though that if you choose not to learn about things, might be a good idea not to debate them either...

Someone can be ethnically Jewish.. ever hear of Hebrew? Its a nationality just like any other. That doesn't mean they follow the religion part of it.

The senseless slaughter of millions of people shouldn't be a believer/non-believer anything..it should be an affront to anyone with the slightest thread of human decency.
