For those of you who submit/have submitted to Kool Kat Porn Links, I first off want thank you for doing so! Secondly, I hate to be a pain in the ass, but you can remove any links back to the site you may have. I have decided to call it quits in the business. I will be pulling the site tomorrow and it will redirect (hey maybe I can make something by someone clicking on some banners or something), so I encourage everyone to remove the links as quickly as possible!

Apparently while I was working on another project, for a few days where I did not check on the site or do any updates, the site got hacked. It has since been restored, but during that time, helped give me some time to put things in perspective. First... my son is growing way too fast and I want to spend more time. Secondly... the amount of time I have spent doing it has put a strain on my marriage, so I want to spend more time with my wife and the rest of my family. Also, the business isn't what it used to be. People are getting way too much stuff for free, so they are spending less. Sponsors are making minimum payouts higher, so it makes it harder to collect on those few sales you do get.
I figure doing this for about 11 years it is finally time to hang my hat up. Greenguy & Jim... you have provided a wonderful resource to many webmasters! I have learned a lot on this site and think you and everyone else do a great job helping each other out! Hopefully everyone can work on reforming the industry to help make it a little easier to make money in the business like it used to be!

Wow, KK, Ive only been back a couple months and you were one ofthe first places I submitted to when I came back. I understand what you are saying..I left the biz at the end of '04 for family reasons..so I give you much respect...Whatever may come your way..the best to you.

Hey koolkat sorry to hear that. I just added you to my submit list a couple days ago. Am I bad luck or something? This happened with Lemmy and it killed me. The day I was to submit to him he shut it down. uh oh things happen in "Threes" . Who the next fallen soldier????

Good luck to you koolkat and it's a good decision to choose your family over the biz. You should look into selling your site though. The brand is worth some bucks IMO.

Best of luck...I think everyone gets a little static from someone when they spend so much time on the computer doing what we do...that's partly why i submit in spurts...when my wife works on weekends, I can bang out a few sites, when she doesn't, I build one one day and submit it the next...it'd be nice to build one a day and submit it, but it takes a lot of time to perform and to stay current which is something we all know...best of luck...
