New site feedback requested by noob, and 404 question

Hi,

I have opened my first website, and would like your critical feedback. The galleries in the members area are much like the previews, except a bit more heirarchical and more pics in each one.

Many of the pics are vid caps. Content for this niche is very hard to come by.

Also, I use a picture on my 404 page. Is this acceptable? (yes, I 'created' the pic )

Thanks for the post, but the intent of my request was for feedback regarding the site, not the site's content type.

The subscriber base and the content producer both exist, so why not? I mean, there are people who for whatever reason want to be really skinny, and there are people who, for whatever reason, like people who are really skinny.

Same as there are people out there that are too fat for the flour test, and their admireres. amputees, midgets, ponyboys & doms, big women/little men, piercings in places most of us didn't know could be pierced...

I'm just providing a specific niche with material they can (ahem) consume.


I realize the site is very softcore, and the images quality not-so-great,
-but-
beyond that i'm pretty new to the adult content world, and I'm just hoping to get a little feedback from those more experienced.

Indeed you're correct, maybe I shouldn't have posted only to state it seems wrong to me. It's my opinion regardless. If you're comfortable with it, so be it.

No sense in trying to compare it to the other niches you listed since I view it as a niche derived from a mental and physical illness.

I appreciate your candor; indeed the irony here is that the lion's share of revenue generated within this industry is "derived from a mental ... illness"

BTW, obesity in the extreme, as seen in certain fetishes is almost certainly caused by mental illness. There are those who would say that homosexuality is based in mental illness, but the APA won't touch it so it is not listed by the DSM-IV therefore not officially an MI. (please don't think I've a problem with gay people by that)

While the 404 page is funny I think something that might make sales would be better.

Also the mouseover full size pics on your site IMO take away from your ads and making money.

As far as the comments on skinny models IMHO they are no worse then fat pics, tits on males, piecing body parts, or any of the many body modification stuff.
