I think the only mouseover that is generally accepted is to hide affiliate code.

As long as it's done in a tasteful way and not a full screen table, I'm ok with it.

Why not just keep it simple and make the image link to your destination?

I am going to end up giving Jim another tip here if I am not careful!
My tip: Before you re-invent the wheel, try the one that is already there. You are starting out in the business. How about trying what is already out there first before you decide to do something different? Get your server already. Get a domain. Build some basic and simple free sites. Get use to the process of building, submitting, and perfecting designs. Then maybe at that point you can start looking at doing fancy animated mutli graphic sites. Your really trying to run before you have even grown feet. Alex |

By looking at your example it looks like a regular.... image. Why not just link the image/image pieces? |

A hot tip before you go about building sites. Read through couple of HTML tutorials. You will save a lot of time if you do that.

Why would you want to link the entire cell of the table?
Isn't it just blank space? What am I missing here? |

Roni, I think you want break the graphic up to make it easier to load, but you don't want to put link codes for each piece?
Well, unless your graphics is REALLY large, don't sweat it. Your so worried about bandwidth, it truly is not the same sort of issue it was a few years ago. Yes, you have to be mindful, but an 80k graphic isn't going to be the end of the world. You are putting the cart well before the horse. Alex |
