Classic Cleo
I'm sorry about posting this thread from another board, but the response from Cleo is classic
http://forum.russiansubmitter.com/viewtopic.php?t=2115 I hate to admit it but I used to use RS. Then I embraced Buddy Christ I check in at their board every few months or so, now I see it's blatant cheater dumbasses I love that this guy is too dumb to realise he's a cheater? |

I do very well with the Russian Submitter both using it to submit to a shit load of small TGPs and running a small TGP that lives off of getting submits from it.
Yeah that idiot was a real jerk. The RS can be abused just like everything else, but it is just another tool that if used properly can can make you money and save on time. |

Your right it's a good tool.
I was using a custom database for Advanced Submitter to submit to the large and medium TGPs, and RSII to submit to the small TGPs That meant I had to constantly reconfigure the RSII database to avoid double submissions It just seemed that my RSII database would constantly reset to defaults. I'm not sure if they fixed it but I know it was reseting everytime you added new TGPs to my database. I personaly never had any real results from posting to the tiny TGPs so in the end it wasn't worth my time to constantly manage the RS database. In the end I found it just more convient and cheaper to comb my stats for tgps that had sent me traffic and add them to my AS database, and just use AS alone |

They were having a lot of server problems and then they moved away from the RackShack and all has been good since, no more database resets.
I have a list of hand submits that I hand submit to. Then I duplicate the gallery and use RS to hit all the smaller places. Only takes me about 10 minutes total and brings me another 20k in traffic per day. Strange thing is that some places that would often not list me seem to list me when using the RS. The only thing I can think of is the random way recips get mixed. |
