Seems like there's a brand new LL Every Day

Seems like everyone wants to start their own LL these days... I wonder why the sudden popularity in them? I also wonder how many of these will be around in a year given how much work it is. My view is that it is currently a type of fashion statement for many webmasters... everyone needs to have their own TGP, MGP, LL, Blog, Review Site, Message Board, etc. What do you think, and does it bother you or are you fine with it?
